Bird Flu Wildlife Resilience Grant applications - Due soon!

Applications for activities to support longer-term projects that strengthen the resilience of Western Australia's native wildlife to the impacts of H5 bird flu are open for funding. 

The maximum funding request for eligible applicants is $200,000. Projects/activities may be carried out over a 12-month period from the signing of the funding agreement.

Small grants – big things

6 individuals and 16 organisations who have a Fauna possessing (other purposes) licence for the purpose of rehabilitation have received funding between $1500 and $10,000 to support a range of purposes, including enhancing biosecurity measures, purchasing consumables, and undertaking relevant training. 

Small grant applications close once all funds have been allocated or at noon on Thursday 10 December 2026.
