Product Spotlight - Irons
Benross
HTX Compressor Type R
The HTX Compressor Type R Iron incorporates an innovative heat-treated Cup Face that produces the best ever CT performance of a Benross iron. New to 2017, the Type R iron features a Cavity Dampener to soften feel at impact. Tour spec KBS Tour 90 or Mitsubishi Rayon Kuro Kage Black shafts are fitted throughout the set with an exclusive Lamkin UTX grip.
HTX Compressor
New to 2017, the HTX Compressor Iron features a Cavity Dampener to improve the feel at impact. A deep cavity and optimal heel/toe weighting results in a high launching, ultra-forgiving head. Available with KBS Tour 90 or Mitsubishi Rayon Kuro Kage graphite shafts as standard, the HTX Compressor iron provides unmatched value.
HTX Compressor Gold
The HTX Compressor Gold Iron features a 431 Stainless Steel Cast head, with a thin heat-treated face designed to produce greater ball speeds for increased distance. The HTX Compressor Gold iron is 4 grams lighter than the standard HTX Compressor iron, further helping to increase clubhead speed for those with slower swing speeds.
Callaway
EPIC
Boasting a host of premium, precision-milled and robotically laser-welded components to give pin-point control over CG location, COR, MOI and vibration control, Epic and Epic Pro Irons are the result of an exhaustive ‘innovation without boundaries’ R&D project involving 70 Callaway design and engineering specialists.
PING
G Iron
Revolutionary COR-Eye Technology provides four times the amount of face flexing for consistently faster ball speeds across the hotter face. A gain in ball speed and shot height generates more carry distance and a steeper landing angle. A specialised heat treatment creates Hyper 17-4 stainless steel, allowing for thinner, faster faces to gain distance.
GMax
In the GMax iron, PING engineers have created our longest, straightest model ever utilising COR-Eye Technology, a revolutionary design that increases face flexing for faster ball speeds across the face to generate incredible distance. The wide sole design positions the CG low/back to maximize forgiveness. Progressive lengths and lofts are optimized for efficient gapping with the distance control and high trajectory you need to hit and hold more greens.
G Le
Designed for the lady golfer, G LE blends lightweight, forgiving irons with easy-to-hit hybrids to increase performance across the set by ensuring every club has its designed role. Lightweight components, faster faces, and a lower overall system mass generate greater distance with improved accuracy.
I200
Precision distance with horizontal and vertical trajectory control in a slim, appealing shape distinguish the soft, 431 stainless steel i200 irons. High-launching, distance-generating long irons and compact, precise short irons give you full command of your shot making with unprecedented feel and forgiveness.
iBlade
The inspiring new iBlade iron is distinguished by the softest, purest feel we’ve ever achieved in an iron, with the workability and control to shape shots on command. Through extensive research and observation of leading tour professionals, PING engineers designed the clean, compact iBlade iron to surpass the expectations of skilled golfers who rely on the precision and control to execute the most demanding shots in the game.
Titleist
716 AP1
For golfers seeking maximum distance and maximum forgiveness. Complete with an extreme 360 degree undercut cavity creating a large unsupported face that increases both speed and launch for more distance and playability. The use of high-density tungsten in the toe increases moment of inertia on off-centre hits and delivers a precise flight through optimised CG progression.
716 AP2
For golfers seeking a Tour proven design with distance, forgiveness and feel. This Tour-Proven distance comes from consistent speed conditions, using an innovative co-forged construction with high density tungsten low and on the perimeter which increases moment of inertia for speed even on off-centre hits and ensures speed through turf with less dig from the wider sole and trailing edge release.
C16
The C16 concept irons are forged from ultra-premium materials and state-of-the-art technologies to create the highest-launching, longest and most forgiving players irons Titleist has ever made. The multi-material hollow construction allows for optimisation of weight placement, distance and forgiveness, with the high-density Tungsten weighting moved to the perimeter and deep into the hollow body providing maximum forgiveness with more distance from the lower CG.
716 CB
For golfers seeking shot control with forgiveness and forged feel. An innovative co-forged construction puts high-density tungsten low and on the perimeter maintaining speed on off-centre hits for never-before-seen forgiveness in a Tour-proven cavity blade profile.
716 MB
For golfers seeking maximum shot control with traditional forged feel and a timeless look, the 716 MB irons feature a precise, high muscle design with a squarer toe, thin topline and pre-worn leading edge for maximum shot control and accurate feedback. Designed using a combination of player input and high tech CAD modelling, the MB irons deliver a pure, forged, muscle back feel.
