Track your usage in real-time with Pay As You Drive On March 1, we’re switching our Monthly member billing system to Pay As You Drive (PAYD). This will charge your credit card in real-time, as well as help you better track your usage and predict your costs. You'll see exactly how much you've driven and the total cost on an ongoing basis instead of waiting for a monthly invoice. As we transition to PAYD during February, here are some important dates: February 6: You will receive your invoice for January usage February 8: You will see a new Account Statement screen within Engage, which tracks every charge and payment as it happens February 14: Your credit card will be billed for January usage February 28: Your credit card will be billed for all of your February usage to date March 1 and ongoing: Your credit card will be billed for each booking as it happens Your Pay As You Drive Statement As of March 1, your credit card will be charged daily for Modo usage. Typically you’ll pay for bookings about 4 or 5 days after you finish driving. Within Engage, you can find a new Account Statement screen which tracks:
Early each month, we’ll send you a full statement for the previous month. This monthly statement also includes administration items like your Monthly member admin fee, which occurs at the beginning of each month. Or annual items like the Damage Pool, if you’ve enrolled. With real-time billing under Pay As You Drive, you can stay on top of your usage and budget more accurately. Why we’re upgrading to Pay As You Drive In terms of security, Pay As You Drive will better protect against fraudulent use of your card and account. You can now manage your costs in real-time without waiting for another bill at the end of the month. Plus, if there are any issues with your account, Pay As You Drive helps our team identify them faster and solve them more efficiently keeping you on the road without any interruptions in service.
