At Sketch Group, we believe that sketching can be transformational. Our sketches solve problems, bring stories to life, and simplify the complex. Here's a snapshot of what we've been up to lately. I feel blessed that I get to do what I love, and am grateful for every opportunity. I hope you have also started the year by kicking some goals, and that it turns out to deliver everything you hope for and more. Sketching Our 2018 Wish ListSketch Group is a team who loves sketching. Which is great, because it’s what we do for a living. But we’ve been thinking about how we can bring even more excitement into making videos; push that envelope, flow that ink, take note of current trends in social media and communications and bring our collective talent and flair to making sure our clients stand out from the crowd. We’d love to talk with you about your ideas of what you’d like us to do, but we’d also love to share some ideas of our own.
And this is really just scratching the surface. So many ideas. So many ways of making your video something really special! Let’s talk and really make a splash in 2018. Featured Video: The Big IssueWe’re big fans of The Big Issue. So we were thrilled to work with them last year to create a poster explaining their unique business model, of which most people are unaware. Every two weeks The Big Issues creates a new issue of their current affairs magazine. The Vendors spend $3.50 of their own money to buy it. Then they sell it their customers for $7 and the money they make is their income. This is key to giving vendors a sense of pride that they are working, not receiving charity. So we were even more thrilled when we were asked to turn the poster into a video. It’s narrated by Kimbra, one of The Big Issue’s Melbourne-based street vendors and we think it’s definitely worth a look. Check it out here, oh and next time you see a vendor selling The Big Issue, why not buy one? Cheers
