How should the State invest in Chinatown?
What projects will make the future of Chinatown bright?
As a part of the process to involve the local communities within Chinatown in planning efforts, the Chinatown DRI Local Planning Committee (LPC) invites you to participate in the second public event. Over the past couple of months, Chinatown and citywide organizations submitted over 40 project proposals to the LPC.
The purpose of this public event is to share eligible projects with the community and understand community concerns, needs, and information gaps related to submitted projects. This will help the LPC prioritize investment strategies and inform their decisions on which projects to recommend to the State for funding.
Here is how you can participate:
In-Person Event
When: Wednesday, May 25th, 6 pm to 8 pm
Where: Grace Faith Church, 65 Chrystie Street.
Face masks are required at all public events.
Language support will be provided in Cantonese, Mandarin, and Spanish.
Online Event
When: Wednesday, May 25th, 5 pm to 7 pm
Where: Zoom
The event will only be facilitated in English.
