Volume 5 Number 13 - August 3, 2025 Enhancing the Beauty Around the Reclinata Circle - Approved!
As noted in an earlier edition of this newsletter, the
PGA-POA Architectural Review Committee has approved our
submission for enhancements to the area around the Reclinata
Circle — specifically on the side closest to The Masters
community.
This initiative will bring the visual appeal of that side of the
Reclinata circle in line with the already attractive Pinehurst
side, creating a more balanced and welcoming look for all who
pass through this well-traveled area. Our contractor, Revival
Landscaping, is securing the necessary materials and plans to
begin installation in the next few days. The project should take
approximately 3 to 4 days to complete, weather permitting.
Don't Let Thieves Wash Away Your Money
Check fraud is surging across Florida, including Palm Beach Gardens, and one of the most common schemes is “check washing.” Thieves steal checks from Post Office drop boxes, erase the payee and amount, then rewrite them for thousands — often draining accounts before victims even notice. Local police departments are being flooded with these cases, stretching their resources and making recovery difficult. Your best defense? Mail fewer checks. Use online bill pay or electronic transfers whenever possible. If you must mail a check, take it inside the Post Office or hand it to a clerk; avoid outdoor boxes, especially after hours or on weekends. And review your bank accounts often so any suspicious activity is caught quickly. A little extra caution can go a long way in protecting your money — and your peace of mind.
