Kindergarten enews

We had such a fun time celebrating Valentine’s Day and learning about Abraham Lincoln last week.  We will continue the fun with Presidents' Day and George Washington.

Next Week

  • Unit Study: We will be discussing Presidents' Day and George Washington.
  • Show and Tell:  Students will bring home a paper titled: “If I were President.”  They need to write about something they would do if they became President of the United States.
  • Bible: We will start our study of Elijah.
  • Bible Verse:  Proverbs 3: 5- Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding.
  • Reading:  We will continue practicing long and short vowels, sight words, and working in our reading groups.  We will also introduce special sounds “tr-” in train and “sh-” in ship.
