This Weekʼs Line-Up

Seamless, attachable keyboard for iPads
01

BrydePro is an attachable keyboard solution for the iPad Pro (but there is one for all iPad versions!). At first I thought this was a new Apple product, that's how seamlessly they fit together. If you're using your iPad as a laptop replacement a Brydge keyboard might be a good investment.

Track your active screen time
02

Aware is a tiny, extremely simple menu bar app that tells you how long you've been using your computer. It knows this because it detects the movements of your mouse and the keystrokes on your keyboard. After a short time of inactivity (a break), Aware will pause the timer, then reset and start again when more activity is detected.

A clip to keep your earbuds in place
03

You like listening to music on the go but hate it when your earbuds’ cord gets caught on things? Bud Buttons are about to be your best buds. This magnetic earbud clip is a simple silicone strap with a strong magnet on one end and a cleverly designed clip on the other.

A flexible back-up tool
04

Creating a print magazine generates Gigabytes of data with every issue, so I eventually had to move those files to an external hard drive, and that's where the magic of Dropbox ends. Thanks to Arq I can back-up data from any source to (almost) any cloud service. I've been using it for years now to create a safe online copy of external drives – all within my Dropbox account. It's a powerful little helper!

A beautiful desk made of wood and glass
05

If you've been subscribed to TMD for a while you will know that I spend a lot of time collecting pictures of beautiful desks. I'm usually not a big fan of glass surfaces, but this design by Shin Azumi combines wood and glass very elegantly. I particularly love the discreet, integrated drawer. One thing that would bother me though: can't stretch my legs.

Prepaid SIM cards, anywhere in the world
06

Usually, international phone data is expensive or capped. The only way around it is to grab a local prepaid SIM card, but trying to understand the oddities of local Telcos is a frustrating exercise to say the least. This Prepaid SIM Card Wiki is here to help. Loads of info on how to get you connected quickly and cheaply in over 140 countries.
