Consultation on Human Trafficking in Scotland. Jenny Marra MSP has lodged a consultation on a proposal for new anti-human trafficking legislation for Scotland. More details and consultation documents available here. Deadline January 6th.

Public Entertainment Consultation. Sauna Licensing. Edinburgh City Council are currently conducting a survey consultation looking at the issues surrounding saunas and massage parlous operating as brothels in the city centre. Please take a few minutes to fill in this survey. Deadline December 15th. More info here.

Bill Walker Coverage Wins Top Award and The Sun Walks Away with a Wooden Spoon. The Write to End Violence Against Women Awards were held at the Scottish Parliament on November 12th. A full list of winners and nominees can be found here.

Play Fair Presents “A Toy For Everyone”: FREE EXHIBITION. 5 - 11 year olds in the Edinburgh area were asked to draw a picture of a toy they thought would be fun for everyone – not just one gender with the winning design to be turned in to an actual toy. The drawings are to be displayed between the 7th-31st Dec at the Forest Cafe in Edinburgh, more details here.

A Consultation on the Future Direction of the Electronic Monitoring Service. The Scottish Government is consulting on the future direction of the electronic monitoring service, including a pilot for domestic abuse and tracking of sex offenders. More details here.
