1st XV Holt 10 - 38 Ipswich HOWEVER...  

Match Abandoned at 58 minutes due to injury to one of our players requiring a lengthy wait for an ambulance.

League rules state that the game has to have at least 60 mins on the clock for the result to stand. Our player is ok, which is the main concern. - Game will be replayed on Saturday 12th October @ Holt RFC KO 3pm

Great turn out for England v Tonga at HDL

It was hot, it was unusually humid and it was a bit cramped in the clubhouse for the start of the match. England got their campaign off to a workmanlike start which featured a strong performance from replacement Lewis Ludllam in the second half.

A big thank you to everyone who turned out to support England at HDL on Sunday and to our fabulous kitchen and bar folk. Thanks also to The Athenas for their post match clear up help.

There certainly was a fabulous atmosphere! #carrythemhome

Will Parkin

Will Parkin, who many members will recall was the club's cleaner for many years, sadly passed away last week.

Will was a keen supporter of the club and could oft be found helping the club's finances by enjoying a drink or two at our bar.

Will had many friends at Ipswich RFC, He possessed a ready and welcoming smile and a good sense of humour.

HEE - HAAA! Mighty Rodeo Night - Saturday, 5 October 2019 at 18:30

Make sure you wear your best cowboy and cowgirl gear as the fun and antics of a rodeo comes to Humber Doucy Lane!

On the night there will be a bucking bronco, live country music with a dj following. Hot food, cold drinks will be served on the night, which will be one to remember.

Can you keep your cool at the table for Wild West poker? Or maybe you have it in you to try your luck at rodeo roulette?
