Eurofyre are pleased to announce the introduction of the latest FT15 addressable microbore air sampling fire detection system. Over many years, this unique and innovative technology has been used in a wide variety of installations ranging from the protection of high value computer and server rooms, to fire detection in National Trust properties and large private residences. This latest development of the system will provide the user with a product that gives extended periods between service and maintenance, allied to a much reduced noise effect through the introduction of new pump technology.
As the only fully addressable air sampling product currently on the market, the microbore tubing used with the system allows consultants, architects and end-users the flexibility to run pipe into difficult areas with a minimum of installation and disruption.
To date, the new EF-FT15 system has found favour with a number of important customers who value the ease of maintenance of this type of technology, particularly in buildings that have a high security, privacy or aesthetic element and risk.
On-going projects include a major world-wide retail brand that is using multiple units to cover their new international flagship store in central London, to a unique listed private residence that is installing ten EF-FT15 units to provide addressable fire detection throughout its refurbishment.

To compliment all of the air sampling products that Eurofyre supply and support, we have also introduced the ECO range of environmental gas sensors. This is a unique gas detection system that utilises the flow of air through standard 25mm ABS and 6mm microbore pipe to monitor for toxic and flammable gases in buildings. The unit can be used simply to look at an individual gas risk such as the presence of carbon monoxide or, in its more sensitive form, to look at a combination of gases such as hydrogen and oxygen.
Toxic and flammable gas risks are of increasing concern for building design teams and the introduction of the ECO range allows these professionals to provide monitoring within the scope of a standard air sampling system with moderate additional cost.
The ECO has been an innovative addition to gas monitoring, particularly for upgrades where an existing air sampling system, such as in an enclosed car park, can be simply retrofitted with a suitable unit - at a sensible cost.
Recent projects to use the ECO include a number of high value private London residences that are fitted with EF-FT15 microbore air sampling fire detection and use ECO to monitor the complete building for carbon monoxide. Also, an enclosed underground car park that has used ECO to monitor the complete area for both carbon monoxide and petrol vapour via a pipe network that also acts as the air sampling fire detection system.
