Bitchin' Berry Release
It's bottled and ripe for the picking starting today at both of our breweries! Be sure to watch your beer store's shelves for bottles of Bitchin' Berry appearing any day. Crisp, effervescent and brewed with real berries, not extracts, this is the perfect beer to help you make it through the hot summer months. Available as a limited seasonal release.
Come down on July 10th where we'll be having a release celebration at both Reno and Sparks breweries with $2 off 4-packs all day long.
A Brew for the Aces
Next at bat, we’ll be releasing All-Star Ale, a Classic Pale Ale specially brewed for the Aces All-Star Game on July 16th. It doesn’t get any better than when you team up Aceball with fresh beer from Great Basin. Be sure to catch this brew at the game, click here for tickets and more info.
Dawn Patrol
Finally, towards the end of the month, we have a new brew bottled and ready for takeoff. Brewed to benefit the Great Reno Balloon Race, Dawn Patrol is a light and refreshing Crystal Pale Ale that you’ll want to fly all summer long. Keep a lookout for 6-Packs of this limited seasonal release and see where it takes you.
We'll be closing the tasting room at our Taps & Tanks location so that we can focus on expanding our brewing production there. Be sure to swing on by before we pour the last pint.

$25 gets you a handful of Great Basin beers and cheeses provided by Wedge Cheese Shop, plus some tasty appetizers from our kitchen.
Sip your drinks and nibble on some gorgonzola as you bid on silent auction items which range from custom art pieces to gift cards generously donated by local business, such as Craft, Melting Pot, Nightmare Studios, and St. James Infirmary to name a few!
While you are enjoying your fine cheese and beer and perusing silent auction items, you can get your rock and roll on to the dulcet tones of Michelle Pappas, Kelly Proud, Strange on the Range and other remarkable musicians!

Summer Drink Special
Variety is something we pride ourselves on here at Great Basin, because of that, we will be pouring a special drink this summer - Sangria! Available starting at the beginning of July, we’ll have two varieties to refresh you from the summer heat, one made with red wine and one with white wine. Look for them both at our Reno and Sparks breweries.
Nevada Craft Brewers Festival Returns for 2013
Saturday October 5th from 3-7pm in Wingfield Park, Downtown Reno, this truly unique beer festival brings together breweries from all across Nevada. The festival will feature live music, food trucks and bottomless beer tastings. Over 20 Nevada breweries are expected to be on hand. More info to come!
Save a Horse, Drink a Beer
July 24th at our Sparks Brewery
The Hidden Valley Wild Horse Protection Fund is committed to helping save the wild mustangs in our area. In January of this year they purchased 140 wild horses that were destined for slaughter. Each of these horses were trapped and removed from the Virginia Range in South Reno. They now have the responsibility of caring for them and finding them homes. They will be selling tickets for raffle prizes and Great Basin will be donating 10% of all dining proceeds to help the cause. Of course, we'll have special pricing on Wild Horse Ale also.
