Research Update

Linked below is the Import-Export Report for February 2021. 

The key findings are:

  • The Import-Export report for February 2021 shows total imports down 6.5% for the month over February 2020, but up 2.8% YTD over 2020.
  • Non-alcoholic beer imports were down 1.8% in February 2021, but are up 2.9% YTD.
  • Total imports for Mexico were down 9.2% for the month. Total imports for the Netherlands were down 8.0% for the month. Imports from Italy were up 571.6% over February 2020.
  • Comparing packaging, imports from Mexico showed bottles down 11.6%, cans down 0.5% and draft down 46.8% for February 2021. The results from the Netherlands show cans up 37.8% and bottles down 21.8% comparing February 2021 versus February 2020. 

The next Import-Export Report will be released on:

  • Tuesday, May 4, 2021 (Reporting for March 2021)
