Dear HFI Reservist,

Hope Force International continues to respond to the plight of those whose homes were flooded in the recent, devastating flood. Teams are busily engaged in removing soaked carpet, saturated drywall and water-damaged flooring.  All this is necessary in order for the home to begin the “healing” process of recovery.

One of the objectives that we have in post-disaster response efforts is to empower the local community to come to the aid of those who’ve suffered loss.  To that end, we want to encourage you as a Hope Force Reservists to jump in with us in our relief efforts in the greater Nashville area.  Also…we want to encourage family and friends to join you in extending much needed help and hope to flood survivors.  With your recommendation (which we call “chain of trust volunteers) they can contact Connie, Hope Force Deployment Coordinator, at deployment@hopeforce.org.   This will be a great opportunity to expose others to the rewarding ministry of compassionate, practical service. Who knows, they may want to become a Reservist someday as well!

Remember, you can quickly learn how to be of indispensable value in helping to “muck out” a home that has been inundated with flooding. You will be working alongside experienced team members, and will find the comradery of service very meaningful.

Your continued prayers, participation and financial support are an essential expression of our partnership of compassion and hope.

If you can help, please: contact Connie Hasty immediately for more details. deployment@hopeforce.org
