Greetings from your Community BoardMessage from the ChairKia ora koutou, Highlights from our latest meetingOur Community Board met on Friday 18 September. Some highlights of our meeting approving funding for a number of community projects, including a grant of $1,500 from our 2020-21 Discretionary Response Fund to the St Albans Community Centre towards the costs of their centre opening. We also approved a grant of $150 ($50 each) from its 2020-21 Youth Development Fund to Maru Kenshikai Kendo Club towards Leia Bayliss, Junya Sawasaki, and Emma Tamaki attending the Rembuden Kendo Taikai Championship in Wellington on 3 to 4 October 2020. The Board also approved no stopping restrictions on the south side of Prestons Road between Marshland Rd and Hills Rd/Hawkins Road and received a letter from local resident Katrina Gosney about the no stopping report.
