The State of CSR in Australia & New Zealand 2018

Deloitte recently released the 10th State of CSR in Australia & New Zealand report - Social licence is key to Australian business survival. An important finding is that business is currently underprepared for the Modern Slavery Act. The report also reveals that the business case for CSR has strengthened over the last decade.

innovation in sustainability across NSW. You can nominate yourself or the work of others. There are 10 award categories open for nomination, and three ‘Best of the Best’ awards. Nominations are now open until 5pm on 8 June 2018.

The Next Boom

This new edition charts what’s happened since and what we can do as individuals, businesses and government to leverage the opportunities.

GECA Featured in Planet Ark's New Toolkit

Planet Ark's new War on Waste Toolkit for Business contains 10 tools to help your workplace reduce waste, recycle more and even lower costs. It also contains tips for choosing the right recycler which includes asking recyclers if they have third party accreditation like GECA’s new Waste Collection Services certification (for NSW only).

rePaper Inc.

A big welcome to new GECA licensee, rePaper, who are certified under our IEPv2.0-2014 International Ecolabelled Products standard. Based in South Korea, they create polyethylene-free, aluminium-free and entirely repulpable food packaging.

Green + Building Expo

GECA's Kim Andrews will be speaking at Green + Building in Melbourne this Thursday on "New Horizons for Ecolabels and Sustainability". There will be free seminars and product workshops during the two-day event, offering a chance to gain advice, discover new ideas and listen to inspirational case studies.
