All new and renewal policies with an effective date on or after April 1, 2020, will be charged the new lower service fee of 0.06% of the total gross premium as defined in Florida Statute 626.9325. All premium-bearing endorsements on policies with an effective date prior to April 1, 2020, will be subject to the service fee rate charged at the inception of the policy being endorsed. This applies to return and additional premium endorsements, audits, installments, and cancellations. Refer to Bulletin 2019-01 for a more detailed explanation of the service fee decrease.
