Founded in 2005, BULK POWDERSTM have grown from being a niche brand to a strong contender in the highly competitive sports nutrition market. They pride themselves on their transparent, quality and affordable approach to sports supplements and it is these values that have successfully helped to differentiate BULK POWDERSTM away from
the competition.

 

Determined to continue producing honest, performance orientated sports supplements; BULK POWDERSTM develop the majority of products in-house. By only working with long-standing and trusted suppliers, this further ensures that their quality is never compromised.

 

By selling exclusively online to consumers, BULK POWDERSTM are additionally able to maintain their recognised low price point, quick delivery service and exceptional high levels of customer service.

 

Traditionally favoured by the core audience such as top-level athletes and professional bodybuilders, BULK POWDERSTM now wanted to expand their reach into the wider

THE CHALLENGE
 

Keen to continue differentiating themselves in the crowded market place, BULK POWDERSTM approached Brandwave to develop a new multi format print advertising campaign. The campaign was to be both brand focused to build awareness and product focused to launch the new Pro SeriesTM.

 

Consisting of only the finest ingredients blended for ultimate performance, the Pro SeriesTM includes new products such as ElevateTM, a powerfully clean Informed Sport accredited pre-workout formula. Communications surrounding the new range needed to be informative and engaging but not overly descriptive to avoid the risk of alienating the wider market.

 

As part of the BULK POWDERSTM unique offering, it was imperative that the creative and messaging clearly emphasised their core brand values. Ambiguous and unsubstantiated claims from many competitor brands had flooded the market and BULK POWDERSTM were keen to achieve break through communication with a clear and straight talking

THE RESULT
 

Working in collaboration with the client, Brandwave developed a creative direction to reiterate their honest approach to sports nutrition. Straplines including, All Bulk. No Bull. and Straightforward Sports Nutrition were implemented to effectively communicate the transparency of the brand.

 

A location photography shoot with BULK POWDERSTM ambassador and Olympic gold medalist James DeGale ensured aspirational imagery for the brand focused adverts was captured. In addition, a product photography shoot for the Pro SeriesTM range took place in the Brandwave studio to heighten the visual impact of the campaign.

 

Fully launched today, the campaign can be seen across the health and wellness print media in publications including Men’s Health and Men’s Fitness over the next six months.
