The Gallery is now reopening in October 2019 with host of sensational exhibitions and programs. by well-known journalist and author Scott Bevan. He will speak about the Gallery’s Shirley Firkin and Ruth Spenser Komon bequests and the art of collecting. The bequests especially feature works from the 1960s and 1970s by well-known Australian artists such as Sir William Dobell, Tom Gleghorn, John Coburn and Margaret Olley, many of whom the collectors knew personally. |
