Tourism Awards - New Initiative

For the first time, SATIC are giving the opportunity for all non-accredited Tourism Awards entrants to become tourism accredited.

 

The accreditation registration fee (usually $250) will be included in the Awards nomination fee.

 

Once the entrant becomes a tourism accredited business they will also be a member of SATIC and be T-QUAL accredited.

 

Entry in the Tourism Awards is open to all South Australian tourism businesses and suppliers across 28 categories.

 

Nominations close 6 July, with submissions due 20 August.

Events & Festivals Industry Workshop

Events South Australia is holding a workshop specifically for the South Australian events industry to network, share information and workshop topics that affect all events and hear from industry leaders.

 

The workshop will also be a valuable opportunity to learn more about specific topics such as sponsorship, event management, marketing, public relations and event evaluation.

Latest Funding & Grants

Applications for funding through the Strategic Tourism Investment Grant are currently available in the following areas:

  • Indigenous Product Development - projects must create employment and training opportunities for Indigenous Australians, and develop new Indigenous tourism attractions, rejuvenate existing attractions or improve the quality of Indigenous tourism services - up to $1M.
  • Australia's National Landscapes - for the delivery of Experience Development Strategies and Product/industry Development Initiatives for Australia's 16 National Landscapes - up to $1M. 

Applications close 30 May 2012.
