iStart New Zealand

Hi there,

The name Zoho might not be a household name in New Zealand, but the Indian SaaS business applications company – which is also behind the ManageEngine ITSM software – is now establishing a bricks & mortar presence here.

With 300,000 global customers, and many locally including Qantas and Turners and Growers, strong growth with enterprise clients in the region has motivated it to get feet on the ground, with a local MD and the opening this week of offices in Auckland’s Britomart and Bryon Bay in Aussie, plus the building of two Australian data centres currently underway.

The company, which says it competes with Salesforce, Microsoft and Google (we'd question the latter two), is talking up its democratisation of "$1 dollar a day" enterprise-grade technology – and in particular its data privacy which it says is not compromised by data monetisation.
