Dear Parents,
We have truly loved your children this year and can’t believe it is time for them to move on! We hope each of your families has a very blessed summer with lots of family time.
Next week, we will not give any homework.
1. Be sure your child brings a sturdy bag on Tuesday to put all of their books, supplies, etc. to bring home – paper bags tear too easily – a duffle bag or extra backpack work the best!
2. Students do not need to bring backpacks or planners on Wednesday or Thursday. We have special things planned for Wednesday and Thursday will be our awards program.
3. Be sure and remember that Thursday, May 25, we will begin the Awards Program at 9:00 in the Worship Center. On this day, students need to wear regular dress code instead of chapel clothes for the Awards Assembly – shirts tucked in and if there are belt loops, a belt must be worn.
Be sure someone is here to pick up your child. We will dismiss immediately following the program – we cannot be sure when the program will end, but should be around 10:30 a.m.
We cannot give out folders early (these will have their awards and report card inside). They are given to the teachers at the end of the program to give out as you pick up your child. We will be against the wall on the far right side of the Worship Center as you come in from the foyer. As you come to pick up your child, we will check them off and give you the folder.
