Leadership Training Institutes (LTI's)
2016 Leadership Training Institutes locations and dates are live and filling up fast! Register now to reserve your location before it fills up! We are also bringing in a brand new program format to ensure our new leaders get the very most out of their experience. LTIs are intended for your first and second year students who want to expand on your leadership knowledge through a fun, engaging and hands-on approach. Pistons Leadership Day
Leadership Day is back! The best of both worlds comes together again to showcase leadership from executives within the Palace operations, as well as a unique program designed for students to see how leadership works in all sectors of an organization. This year, after students take part in our panel of leadership, each school will be issued a real scenario that one of our speakers had to overcome. Using the Project Planning Process, each team will need to create a solution, just as they would in the field! After the educational side of the event, watch the Pistons take on the New York Knicks! National Association of Workshop Directors (NAWD)
Last year advisers and educators from all across Michigan joined together to attend the National Association of Workshop Directors annual National Conference on student Activities. This conference brings together advisers from across the nation to trade ideas, programming, while taking part of focus groups, specific session topics and multiple keynote speakers.
