Pastor Evelio Miranda
We want to render a special recognition to pastor Evelio Miranda for supporting and registering 23 Youth and Young Adult Delegates - which translates into literally thousands of dollars of investment - from the churches (North, Racine and La Hayes) he's pastoring in Wisconsin Conference.
We pray for an outpouring the Holy Spirit on these 23 Delegates as they prepare for the Congress to be empowered, inspired, rejuvenated, and resourced to impact the spanish community in Milwaukee Wisconsin!

Congress 40-Day Countdown Devotionals
We have started an official 40-Day Countdown for the 2013 LUC Youth Evangelism Congress.
We're on Day 13 of 40 today.
Both Moses and Jesus endured 40 days & nights of trial in the mountain and wilderness. And as as result, both of them emerged with power, glory and character that would carry them to finish the mission God had planned for them to accomplish.
As we spend the 40 days & nights together in God’s Word and Prayer - we pray that God will empower us with His power, glory and character that will enable us to finish the work He has planned for us to finish in our generation.

This Congress has been strategically designed for the young delegates to connect, network and build community together in a retreat settting. The goal is for young delegates and church leadership to bond and establish deep and intimate relationships by coming and staying together at the hotel. So, we're encouraging everyone to 'come away for awhile' and take time to build a community together.
