Click here What's happeningOutreach programs updateThe Regional Services team is currently seeking recommendations from each respective Regional Working Group for all proposed 2018 - 2019 services funded through Rural Health Outreach Fund (RHOF), Medical Outreach Indigenous Chronic Disease Program (MOICDP), Visiting Optometrists Scheme (VOS) and Eye and Ear Surgical Support Service (EESS). Following endorsement from the State-Wide Advisory Forum and the Australian Government Department of Health, a new Payment Schedule 1 July 2018 - 30 June 2019 for RHOF, MOICDP, VOS and EESS will be issued to service providers in June 2018. Healthy Ears - Better Hearing, Better Listening beyond 30 June 2018 Rural Health West is awaiting notification from the Australian Government Department of Health regarding our role as Fundholders of HEBHBL from 1 July 2018. The team will keep all providers up to date with any news through our e-bulletin and targeted communications. Service visit dates and reportingAs we are now in the last quarter of the financial year, please add remaining visit dates and any outstanding Service Activity Reports to the Outreach Management System (OMS) . Please email the Regional Services team if any services are to be cancelled. This will ensure OMS is up-to-date and will determine if funding is available for reallocation before 30 June 2018. National ear and hearing health initiativesThe Australian Government has invested in a number of ear and hearing health initiatives which are available nationally, free of charge. Ear equipment supply, maintenance and repair For services to be eligible to receive equipment, they must have workforce trained to use the equipment.
