The Launch of The Moreton Hall Centenary Appeal

'An Evening with Alistair McGowan'

To launch the Moreton Hall Centenary Appeal we are delighted to invite Old Moretonians, parents, past parents and Friends of Moreton to a glittering Black Tie Dinner Dance at Moreton on Friday 5th October 2012. Our guest speaker will be Alistair McGowan, the famous TV impressionist and comedian.

This splendid evening will also include Dancing to '29 Fingers', the great London Band.

The evening will also formally launch the Moreton Hall Centenary Appeal which - in part - will aid the development of the new Science Centre. Through gifts and pledges received during the evening, we hope to fund at least one or more of the new laboratories within the Science Centre.

All OM's are warmly welcome to what promises to be a very entertaining evening!

Old Moretonian AGM

The OM AGM will take place on Thursday 18th October 2012 at the Savile Club, 69 Brook Street, London at 5.30pm.

We would like to encourage as many OMs to attend as possible. The AGM will precede the OM Lacrosse Dinner.

Old Moretonian Lacrosse Dinner

Lacrosse Dinner

One of the strongest memories that all OMs have of Moreton days is watching and playing lacrosse on the front pitches, whether it was in the damp Shropshire gloom or occasionally in glorious winter sunshine!

On Thursday 18th October there will be a dinner for all OM Lacrosse Players, bad or good, at the Savile Club London beginning with drinks at 7.30pm.

Tickets are limited for this OM dinner. We therefore urge you to send in your RSVP cards as soon as possible to secure your place.

We really do hope that you might be able to join us for what promises to be a fantastic evening to meet fellow players through the ages!

Centenary Art Exhibition

Pupils, Old Moretonian artists and associated professionals are invited to submit works on the theme of ‘Woman’. Various media are acceptable including paintings, drawings, original prints and photography, sculpture, mixed media constructions and other figurative installations.

A selection committee will assess competition entries to choose up to fifty finalist artworks Successful entries will be on public display in an exhibition to be held by kind permission of the Directors at The Fine Art Society 148 New Bond Street, London, W1S 2JT on 16th and 17th November 2013.

Finalist artworks will feature in a special edition Moreton Hall Centenary Art Exhibition catalogue.
