Would you like your business to be seen by thousands?The BID will be coordinating Altrincham’s ‘Best Dressed Window Competition’. Some of the 21 businesses already signed up for the competition include Randalls Jewellers, Edit & Oak, The Cheshire Tap, Gran T’s Coffee House, Jameson and Partners, The Roebuck, Warrens Bakery, Ferrious, Mad Mug and Moss Studio. There are two opportunities to win: But it's more about looking great and generating positive PR for your business.
Last year’s winner, Chris Taylor of Gran T’s Coffee House explained how his business benefited from taking part last year: “We invested in our entry and received 10-fold back in press attention and social media coverage. It’s an amazing opportunity to scream and shout about your business and get noticed. I would recommend that other businesses get involved in opportunities like this”. Tomorrow is the deadline for businesses to sign up for the competition and for those interested, the entry criteria van be viewed on Altrincham Unlimited’s website. Key entry criteria:
The prize: The RHS Judges favourite will receive 2 tickets for the RHS Flower Show Tatton Park. The winner of the People's Choice will receive a half page advert in the Altrincham Today Magazine. Volunteers from the charity 'Altrincham in Bloom' have been working tirelessly in preparation for the visit and the floral displays throughout the town are looking fantastic. If you'd like to help Altrincham to have the best chance of impressing the judges please join other volunteers for the Britain in Bloom Litter Pick on Tuesday 2nd July (7-9pm). The BID Board are pleased to announce that Rachael Wilkinson has joined the Altrincham Unlimited team as BID Business Manager. Rachael was previously the BID Manager at Lancaster BID. Elizabeth Faulkner will continue in a new role focusing on BID business development, strategic planning, new events in the town's calendar, income generation and opportunities which have opened up since the Great British High Street win. |
