Helen is the owner / founder of Pipduck Australia, the largest distributor of ladies rainwear in Australia.  Pipduck Australia is also the umbrella company of a subset of companies. The subset companies are Impact Ecowares Australia, Plain and Simple Australia , Drop Ship Dream, Sale Vulture and How to Make Millions Importing.  Helen began her business in 2007 and has enjoyed continuous business growth each year, with an expected gross earnings in 2014 in excess of 2.1 million. Helen  employs local people and supplys wholesale and locally made products nationally and internationally.  Helen has been formally trained with a Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Law with Honours in Law but her greatest lessons has been learnt watching other successful business owners.

Topic: The Corner Stone of my Success: A Strong Service Ethic

A strong service ethic is the corner stone of Helen’s business success.  After working as a lawyer and wanting a change, at the age of 31,  with no previous sales experience Helen took on a job selling floor tiles and kitchen splash tiles.  Helen latched on to a mentor and watched him in action, learning how to run a business.  Helen’s mentor showed her the key to a strong service / business ethic and how to truly and sincerely embrace a service roll.  She has implemented this strategy in her own business and will share her service strategy to demonstrate how a solid service ethic is the corner stone of financial success.

The first IWIB event for 2015 is the IWIB Lunch with Turia Pitt on Friday 6th February 2015 at Bella Portofino, starting at 12noon.

Motivational speaker Turia Pitt will be guest speaker at this event, with her partner Michael Hoskin.

Turia will be speaking on "Unmask Your Potential" - her 1 hour presentation with Video & Q&A will address - "Importatnce of Determination, Perseverance & Never Giving Up and How to Cope with Change".

Turia is an inspirational young lady full of determination. Don't miss this event. The IWIB lunch event will be run on a Business Lunch format with none of the usual IWIB formalities.

In September 2011, Turia Pitt, a beautiful 25-year-old mining engineer working her dream job in the far north of Western Australia, entered an ultra-marathon race that would change her life forever. Trapped by a fire in a gorge in the remote Kimberly region, Turia and five other competitors had nowhere to run. Turia escaped with catastrophic burns to 65 per cent of her body.
