Introducing Kelly Watts

Header

We’re excited to introduce Kelly Watts, our new Frame Support Specialist.

Years of working in product design consulting has given her keen attention to detail and a deep understanding of user needs. Before joining ENDUROFRAME® she leveraged this experience to provide a range of user support services to a medical product development company.

Her hobbies include keeping her collection of plants alive and exploring walking trails around Melbourne.

Automatic wall opening configurations

Header

Automatic wall opening configurations are templates that allow you to pre-define wall opening detailing options for a range of truss spans. See Configuring automatic openings.

Now you can opt to use automatic opening configurations when you insert wall openings. See Inserting wall openings.

When parts are created the ENDUROCADD® Software automatically grabs the detailing option from the automatic wall opening configuration and creates the exact parts required for the opening.

Better still, you can always change your mind and apply a different automatic opening configuration during the parts creation process. See Setting automatic opening types.

Improved black and white printing for truss fabrication sheets

Header

Printing in black and white is an economical option, but it usually lacks the detail of coloured printing. Now we've made it easier to print in black and white by highlighting boxed truss members using a darker shade of grey.

For information about selecting black and white printing for trusses, see Sheet options.

For information about sheets including printing and exporting sheets to PDF, see Sheets.

Printing junction numbers on studs

Header

Determining correct wall placement on-site can be tricky.

Now we've made the whole process much simpler by allowing you to print junction numbers on studs. Simply match up the junction numbers printed on each stud and you're good to go!

For more information, see Detailing Options.

Manual intermediate floor depths

Header

We've increased the flexibility of intermediate floors by allowing you to manually define exact depths (up to 600mm) for your intermediate floor blocks.

This is especially useful when you need the intermediate floor to be a specific depth to work with your brickwork or blockwork construction.

See Creating intermediate floors.

Intermediate floor display options

Header

For a long time we've had coloured roof blocks to help you differentiate between the roof blocks in your job.

Now we've expanded display options to include several colouring options for intermediate floor blocks including:

  • Random colour features
  • Random colour detailing
  • Random colour zones.

See Changing visibility settings.

New Settings window

Defining building system and certification sheet information is easier than ever before with the new Settings window.

You can define system values that apply to all new jobs or update values for each job.

See Updating job and system settings.
