Record attendance at Goose Green Festival!
The fifth annual Goose Green Festival, organised by Altrincham’s Business Improvement District (Altrincham Unlimited), was yet again a massive hit with a record-breaking attendance over the weekend. Close to 9,000 festival-goers came along to enjoy the music in Altrincham on the Saturday and Sunday of the August bank holiday weekend. Overall the town’s footfall was up 19.7% compared to the same weekend the previous year. Other music venues throughout the town put on live performances over the weekend with King’s Court particularly receiving comments from visitors that they had never seen it so busy!
A reminder that Goose Green car park is open as usual whilst undergoing renovations. This is a great place to park for the Tour of Britain - unaffected by road closures and close to the Goose Green Fan Zone!
