Linked below is the Import-Export Report for July 2019.

Here are a few key findings:

• The volume of beer imported into the U.S. increased by 5.1% during July 2019, the fifth consecutive month of import growth.
• Consumer spending on imported beer increased by an estimated 7.6% during July.
• Imported beer volume is now up 2.9% year-to-date through July 2019.
• In July, imports from both of the top two source countries grew. Mexico increased by 10 percent and the Netherlands by 2.6 percent.
• Exported beer volume continues to decline steeply, partially due to strong performance of the U.S. dollar compared to other major currencies, including the Mexican peso and the euro.
