Asparagus Season

Oxfordshire Cotswolds Tourism Superstar 2013

Our very own Tourism Superstar, Carl Morgan (Front-of-House Manager),
has been nominated as one of 10 finalists for Oxfordshire Cotswolds' Tourism Superstar of 2013. The competition aims to find the district’s unsung hero who helps to make West Oxfordshire an unforgettable experience for visitors.

Help select the Oxfordshire Cotswolds Tourism Superstar
 cast your vote before 5pm Friday, 24 May.

 

London Marathon Charity Run

Well done to Sam Hall, who ran the London Marathon in 3h45 - wow!  A guess of her time across the line to win a lunch at The Nest, raised £145.00 for Prostrate Cancer UK.  
Well done and thank you to all those who supported this brave lady. 

 

Cotswolds Life Food and Drink Awards

The Feathered Nest has been nominated as a finalist in the 'Best Pub Restaurant' category.

Cotswold Life readers were invited to recommend their favourite food producers, suppliers, retailers, restaurateurs and hoteliers. A panel of judges used set criteria to whittle down the thousands of nominations received to three finalists in each category.

An independent panel will conduct final judging anonymously
and winners will be announced on 1 July.

 


The Food

Head Chef, Kuba, is showing off new season Asparagus complimented with Pheasant Eggs, along with Suckling Pig, fresh Brill, new season Lamb and homemade Sausages.

A new cookbook "Relish Midlands" celebrates cooking from the heart of England.  This is a super book showcasing recipes from the regions finest chefs' - ours included!  
On sale from 10th June - get your copy from the Bar for £20.
