Our weekly Fridays for Future climate strikes continue in Huntsville and Bracebridge, every Friday from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm, in Huntsville in front of Town Hall at 37 Main Street East, and in Bracebridge at Memorial Park. Pandemic measures — 2 metres apart pleaseWe ask that everyone observe physical distancing guidelines and stay two metres apart. Feel free to bring a lawn chair to ensure physical distancing. Anything and everything you're able to do to continue to raise awareness about the urgency of climate action helps! If you have not done so already, we urge every individual and group in Muskoka to please read and endorse CAM's Declaration of Climate Emergency Resolution. We cannot stress to you enough the urgency of showing community support for this crucial declaration. Our politicians need to know that we as voters and citizens are 100% behind them in their decision to support this seachange document that will require all decisions made by municipal government going forward to be viewed through an environmental lens.
