A big thank you

Since our last newsletter we want to say a big thank you to our foster carers who agreed to be interviewed by local media. This helps our recruitment efforts immensely, enabling the community  to hear directly from foster carers about their experiences. We have had an excellent response from people making enquiries about becoming foster carers for teenagers.

Many more people are turning to our financial counselling service. Below  you can read just one example of why and how your donations have helped make a difference.  If you can help support this service please call us on 8724 9211 or donate online

Thanks again
Rob

Donors help make a difference to people's lives

Our financial counselling service has experienced increased demand throughout all regions.

Sammie and Josh* fled their home and were sleeping in their car.   Sammie was se_ually assaulted and so traumatised Josh became her carer  They could not work, which left them homeless and in financial distress. Our homelessness team helped secure a safe home and provided supports. Our donor funded financial counselling enabled Sammie and Josh to budget and manage their limited income. Sammie and Josh's story is just one of many where donors have helped change lives.

To help change lives and  help us meet the demand please donate to our financial counselling service. Call 8724 9211 or visit the Give Now website  for online donations.
