New video and one-way system for Le RaceDyers Pass Road will be open to one-way traffic only for a length of time on Saturday 20 March because of Le Race passing the construction works. To accommodate the work sites and allow those competing in Le Race to safely get over Dyers Pass Road, we will be making the road one-way from the city-side of the hill to Governors Bay between 7am and around 11am. During that time, people wanting to travel from Governors Bay to the city will need to use Lyttelton Tunnel. The video also talks about how we are doing the work on Dyers Pass Road, so take a look! New night work siteWe will be doing some night work near Summit Road on the Governors Bay side of the hill starting next week. This is so the team can do some rock breaking work along that stretch of road. There will be stop/go traffic management in place overnight, but the road will remain open up to Summit Road. The road closure on the Cashmere side of Summit Road will remain. This site will be active overnight from Sunday to Friday between the hours of 7pm and 6am.
