• Bible- Saul & Barnabas; Serving God & Others Faithfully; Lottie Moon
• Verse - 1 Peter 4:10, “…Each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve others...”
• Spelling -“aw” and “au” (saw, jaw, hawk, haul, Paul, August)
• Reading & Phonics - Read “Mia Hamm Winners Never Quit” & “Be a Team Player”; Compare and contrast
• Grammar & Writing - Complete sentences, practice marking sentences; write Squiggle stories & friendly letter
• Math - Review math facts; 13 subtraction family; add 3 digits
• Science/Social Studies - Goods and Services

• May 22 - Picnic Lunch and Field Day; more info to come; Last full day
• May 23 - Awards assembly at 8:30 at Cross Church; dismissal afterwards; last day of school; no extended care
• Starting May 9th we will be having a 10-day countdown filled with a fun activity each day. A schedule of those activities was sent home in blue folders last week. I will also post here on the days your child needs to bring something from home.

Countdown Fun:

• May 9 - Come ready to tell a joke at school
• May 11 - Bring a towel and a book so we can read outside (weather permitting)
