MergePay was a passion project to bring the rest of the world (especially Asia) the financial solutions enjoyed by more forward-developed banking countries, and it was funded purely through myself and my partners since it's inception. Unfortunately, we have not been able to provide a valuable enough service to convince enough customers to pay for to keep us going.

It's been a tough decision, as this has been the main part of my life for over 3 years, but financial related tools are very expensive to maintain, and short of taking on outside funding, we cannot afford to continue to support the tools any longer.

I personally apologize for any convenience this may have caused. Please download your data from the 'Export' tab in Account Settings before April 14th. As of April 15th, all the data on our servers will be erased and shut down.
