ACTEAZ Leadership Opportunities

Step up to Leadership

Step up for CTE and assume an active leadership role in promoting career and technical education at the local, state, regional and national levels! ACTEAZ provides a leadership training program – Fellowship Program- that provides opportunities for educators to become familiar with and participate in the policy making processes. The Fellowship experience assists professionals in further developing leadership skills in CTE and promotes their involvement in professional associations.

Fellowships are limited to ACTEAZ members who have at least one year of work in, or around CTE. Applicants must have the support of their CTE Director and Principal as they serve in a three-year commitment, with one year of intensive involvement. Second and third year Fellows are asked to serve on an ACTEAZ committee or run for an affiliate office. Continuing Fellows present at annual conferences, correspond with legislators and mentor incoming Fellows. Most importantly, Fellows have a lot of fun together! If interested, ask Marilynn, Speranta, or Lou Hart for more details. We would LOVE to see more counselors involved in this fantastic leadership opportunity.
