Accessible Information StandardThe Accessible Information Standard (AIS) is mandatory for all organisations that provide NHS or adult social care, including NHS trusts and GP practices. We have a dedicated page on our website for AIS codes and information. Please click on the below... Cameron Fund Christmas Appeal 2022On behalf of the Cameron Fund Treasurer, Dr Ian Winterton, we would like to share with you the Cameron Fund Christmas Appeal 2022 letter. CQC is changingCQC are currently developing a new regulatory approach, which will include an equivalent to the factual accuracy process. They would like practices to complete a survey which before being completed, they ask that you either watch a video of their recent webinar or have a look at their slides. Essex Wide Primary Care Workforce Racism and Discrimination SurveyFollowing on from the successful Humberside LMCs’ racism and discrimination report, we invite you to complete the following survey to begin a conversation about racism in primary care. This is supported by the Essex LMCs and ICS colleagues across Essex. By completing the survey, it offers the chance to share your experiences anonymously to form the basis of recommendations which will then be shared across our systems. This survey is open to everyone working in primary care across Essex, of any ethnicity or job role, and we would encourage it to be shared with colleagues in order to provide the most representative results possible. It will take between 5-15 minutes to complete. The survey can be accessed here. If you have any queries, please email primarycare.workforce@nhs.net or email the Essex LMCs. Appointments in General PracticeThrough NHS Digital, we are able to obtain data on appointments that have taken place in general practice across Essex. The data that we can extrapolate is useful for us to see how many appointments have been offered in a month, and how many patients were seen face to face for example. We now produce appointment data flyers that can be displayed in your practice. Please see below for more information.
