HTC Graduate Bellicum Pharmaceuticals, Inc. Latest Houston Company to Attract Cancer Research Funds
HTC Graduate, Bellicum Pharmaceuticals, Inc., is the latest recipient of a combination of public and private backing. Bellicum has raised $20 million in private equity financing. The additional funding brings Bellicum's balance sheet to $26 million on committed capital, including a $6.1 million award from the Cancer Prevention and Research Institute of Texas.

HTC Welcomes New Client Company: Intrepid Robotics
INTREPID Robotics performs American Petroleum Institute (API) 653 robotic inspections for aboveground petrochemical storage tanks (ASTs) that are “in-service” and full of product, while providing an 80% reduction in costs. Conventional inspection systems require that tanks be emptied prior to an inspection or cleaning.

Texas Emerging Technology Fund Accepting New Applications
Through April 24th
The Texas Emerging Technology Fund (TETF) has announced that new applications for Commercialization Awards will be accepted by the Regional Centers of Innovation and Commercialization (RCIC) in April. Full Release

The Gulf Coast RCIC will be holding 3 workshops on the TETF program next week – on Monday (April 2) at the Houston Technology Center, Tuesday (April 3) in the NASA/JSC area, and Wednesday (April 4) on the Texas A&M campus in College Station.
