Welcome

Welcome to February's edition of the ezine.  This month's ezine covers a range of useful information and updates across various aquatic areas.  There has been lots of notable performances in the water across several disciplines at both a county, regional and national level.  Congratulations to all those involved and who have contributed to the athlete's achievements.  Well done as well to the coaches from the Region who have been selected to be part of the UK Coaching Development Programme.  Please note that the way in which Swimming Officiating Judge 1 training is delivered has changed to an online format.  Workforce development opportunities are listed and available to view on the Region's website where additional information can be found.  Some Coaching vacancies are also listed.  A notable date for your diary is the Swim England North East Regional Annual Council Meeting in April and the Northumberland & Durham Coaches Conference in July.  Please also take note of the dates when Sunderland Aquatics Centre will be closed.
