Kindergarten eNews

As we move into the month of November, our classes will learn about the Native Americans, Pilgrims, Thanksgiving, and focus on Psalm 100, reminding us who our Creator is and that we should “give Him thanks and praise His name” in all that we do.

Next Week

  • Show and Tell: Bring something that represents a holiday tradition in your family. Be ready to explain the tradition.
  • Bible: We will continue with the stories of Moses.
  • Bible Verse: “Know that the Lord, He is God; it is He that has made us, and not we ourselves. We are His people, and the sheep of His pasture.” - Psalm 100:3
  • Reading: We will be working on plural words, sight words, and our readers.
  • Math: We will spend time reviewing the math skills we have already learned and move into addition readiness.

Blue/Gold Basketball Game & Pancake Supper

It’s almost time for the Blue/Gold Basketball Game & Pancake Supper!  Join us on November 7 for this annual fundraiser for the Shiloh Band & Basketball team.  The Pancake supper is from 5 pm - 7 pm in the cafeteria, followed by the Blue/Gold Game in the SEC gym from 6 pm - 8 pm.  You can purchase tickets for $5 from any band or basketball team member, or get your ticket that night.  The BOOK FAIR will also be open in the library so you can shop with your students!

Important Dates

  • November 6 -  Blue/Gold Basketball Game & Pancake Supper
  • November 21 - 25 - No School (Thanksgiving Holiday)
  • Reminders: With the weather getting colder, please remember to send a jacket or coat with your child’s name on it every day. Also, be sure the change of clothes that stays in your child's backpack consists of warm clothing.
