CHAMPIONSHIP PROPERTY OWNERS ASSOCIATION Back to decluttering and deleting guests ... In our last issue, we encouraged homeowners to take a moment to review the list of guests they have granted access to... and many of you did. Thank you! However, it seems we made an assumption (which, in hindsight, was not the best approach) that everyone was familiar with the process of adding and deleting guests. So, let's walk through those steps here:
It's as straightforward as that! Just remember to log off once you've finished. National Public Safety Telecommunicators Week ![]() There is a phone number that one can arguably say everyone knows by heart: 911. Each year, during the second week of April (April 14-20, 2024), we celebrate National Public Safety Telecommunicators Week (NPSTW) to honor our public safety telecommunicators for their commitment, service, and sacrifice. All 911 centers, especially NorthComm which handles all Police communications for Palm Beach Gardens and several other local law enforcement agencies, are key components in providing critical, life-saving emergency services to the public. ![]() The NorthComm Communications team consists of a total of 38 highly trained State-certified employees who, prior to employment, attend a seven month long training program which includes a State of Florida Certification, several courses of Emergency Training required by FEMA, extensive training in call handling, 9-1-1 handling, radio training and the use of multiple types of software to assist in the position. During NPSTW week, local communities and organizations come together to recognize the dedication, professionalism, and commitment of telecommunicators. We take time out to show our appreciation to these professionals who work tirelessly behind the scenes, often under intense pressure, to ensure that emergency calls are answered promptly and accurately, and that appropriate help is dispatched to those in need. THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE! New barcode readers.. and new barcodes After two decades of faithful service, the barcode readers at Eagleton's front and back gates were showing signs of weariness. With the substantial flow of vehicles passing through these gates regularly, it became evident that it was time for an upgrade.
