If you are one of the many taxpayers who have recently paid your tax due for the year ended 5 April 2014, do you know which year you were actually paying for?
Many companies still fail to meet the nine month filing deadline for their accounts and are not aware of the deadline for filing their company’s Annual Return; which is not surprising when a company has four deadlines to meet.
There are now less than two months to go until the end of the 2014-15 tax year, and businesses should plan carefully to utilise annual tax allowances and reliefs to their maximum.
