In addition, last week voting wrapped up for our People’s Choice Award. With over 2,000 votes coming in for all of the contestants Julia Shappert received the most votes and has won an additional $2,500! Congratulations to all of our winners. The Rock’s Top 3 Money Tips

Ok, it’s a different Rock than the one you’re probably thinking of. Over Spring Break I sat down with my dad Rock to talk to ask him what he considers to be three of his top money tips. Can you smell what the Rock is cooking?!

Experience the Biscuits

Do you love the Montgomery Biscuits? Want to see them live in action this year at Riverwalk Stadium?  If so, you’re in luck! This summer I will be giving out box tickets and you could be one of the lucky winners. I bet you are asking how in the world do I get these tickets? Well, you have to stay tuned to the Young & Free Alabama Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. Make sure you are following me on all of these social media platforms because you never know when I’m going to announce how you can win. Stay tuned and Go Biscuits!

Would You Like Fries With That?

No, I’m not talking about legitimate fries, but I am talking about the things we buy but don’t really need. How many times have you bought something just because it was on sale or somebody convinced you that you needed it, but you really didn’t? I’ve found myself in this situation plenty of times. Read my thoughts on what I consider to be one of the smartest ways we can be financially stable.

Infographic: Living On Your Own

Are you ready to make the big move? There’s more to it than paying rent—living on your own creates new expenses that you may not have considered, such as rental insurance, commuting expenses and furnishing your new place. Here are a number of things to consider as you plan for your big move.

Once again, April has been a great month here at Young & Free Alabama. Congrats again to our six scholarship recipients. As school is winding down I want to encourage you to enjoy this summer, take a break and really just give your mind a rest. There will be a lot of fun things coming out this summer for Young & Free so stayed tuned. You could even win a box seat for the Biscuits. Until next month, have a great start to your summer!
