More information

We are pleased to announce that the Volume 17, Issue 1 of the Journal of Human Rights and the Environment (JHRE) is now available in print and online via Elgaronline.

This year, the JHRE said goodbye to its founding Editor, Anna Grear, welcoming two new Co-Editors in Chief, Matilda Arvidsson and Emily Jones, to the team alongside Natalia Kobylarz (who joined a year prior, initially alongside Grear). We would like to thank Anna for her generosity, sharing her radically imaginative vision and for the depth of her commitment to human and more-than-human legalities.

This issue brings together seven contributions that explore a diverse range of themes, perspectives and methodologies, reflecting the evolving scope of scholarship in the field. Many of the articles also draw on field practice, including experience in advocacy, litigation and engagement with vulnerable communities.

We hope you enjoy this issue.

Co-Editors-in-Chief
