Kindergarten eNews

We have enjoyed learning about the farm this week! We talked about crops and foods we enjoy that come from those crops. Next week, we will focus on farm animals and the foods we get from them.

Next Week

  • Unit Study: Farm
  • Show and Tell: Bring something grown or raised on a farm. No real animals, please!
  • Bible Verse: “Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right.” - Ephesians 6:1
  • Bible: Stories of Joseph
  • Reading: Phonemic awareness and letters Hh and Tt. These are the sight words we will learn this nine weeks: I, see, a, on, and, the, has, is, at, had, got, no, for, of. (We have not learned all of these yet, so they will not know them all right now.) Be looking in next week's take-home folder for resources to practice sight words at home!
  • Math: More and less, greater and fewer, number families, and writing number 4
