space

Climbing stairs to raise funds to go towards cancer research and oncology services are just a few of the activities cancer survivor, Amanda Vea Vea (centred in image above) does to keep positive.

Amanda who has both Aboriginal and South Sea Islander heritage found out in 2012 she had breast, lung, liver, kidney, spinal, pelvic and bone cancer.  Listen to her story here.

Last May Amanda and and her team climbed 37 floors of a city hotel in a charity event organised by the Mater Foundation.  Read more about the event here.
