No Images? Click here Dear Playtimer The Christmas season will soon be upon us; in our groups it can be a very busy time – organising Christmas parties, stories and crafts, and maybe joining in community carol singing, while also trying to juggle school Christmas plays and festivals. While being busy is good and productive, we all need to remember to take time to rest. I read an article recently by Veronica Neffinger in which she shared the following wisdom: “Sometimes, true rest is simply being there for those who need you; praying with someone who needs it at that moment or listening to someone who is going through a difficult time, or perhaps listening to some worship music or writing in a journal.” Can I encourage you to take five minutes a day to seek God for what he wants you to do for yourself and others in this season? In this newsletter, Jo and Lauren from Nottingham share their thoughts on building a strong volunteer team. We have launched our Playtime Local events. If you are interested in holding an event that is unique to your area then please fill out this survey. I wish you all a blessed Christmas, and look forward to supporting and resourcing you through 2020. God bless Helen
