2nd Grade eNews

Wow, the students did such a great job at Christmas chapel! We are so proud of them!

It is hard to believe that Christmas is just around the corner! We are working hard for the next few weeks before our break. The students are doing great! Please remember if your child has not turned in their $9.00 and chore list for your Christmas present,  please turn these in.

  • Bible - We will begin studying Nehemiah using chapters 1-3.
  • Memory Verse - Nehemiah 4:6, “So we rebuilt the wall until the entire wall was joined together up to half its height for the people had the will to keep working.”
  • Reading - We will read a biography of Helen Keller. We will continue to work on Main Idea.
  • Spelling - Our Spelling Pattern this week will be Final Stable Syllable - Consonant LE. When you say and see the words such as nimble, bumble, ramble, the E is always silent and the L is preceded by a consonant. Here are some more examples: jungle   handle   dimple   ankle   pickle
